This week we got to know the organization called Live and Learn kenya. We met Brique Topaz, founder of "Feed a Smile".She took us to the Feed a Smile organization in the lavender garden in second life and she told us about his organization.
Everything is done under the slogan: Feed a Smile. All donations will be used to provide extra food to LLK children in Kenya (more than 100,000 meals have already been funded this way). Donation boards are also set up for the school construction during certain events. Since Second Life knows no borders, people from all over the world meet here.
Feed a smile is a project of the Germany-based Live & Learn Kenya charity. The purpose of the organization is to help poor children in Kenya. Live And learn Kenya aims to provide children in need with everything they need to go to school. Feed a smile started in second life and is only supported by donations collected in second life. They collect donations and send them to Kenya through the activities, concerts and fashion shows they organize in Second Life. The food, clothing, textbooks and health needs of the children there are met.All of the donations collected are sent to children in Kenya who need help.
